Summer Superleague 2022: Week three

Week three of the superleague sees men’s football and hurling action, starting at 7pm on Monday the 13th of June, at Vanier College.
First up will be the inaugural hurling league summer superleague game. After the winter league saw PSC run out handy winners, there’s been some shuffling of personel and now both teams are ready to go at it again. Will PSC remain dominant, or will some new faces give the Rouge the edge?
Next is Men’s football, with the Verdun Vikings taking on The Goosevillage Blackrocks. A barebones Vikings were narrowly beaten by the Gaels in their first match of the season, so they’ll be looking to take that result and build on it. Meanwhile the Blackrocks will be coming into their first game with their Winter Superleague final victory fresh int heir minds, and designs on a double. And that dream starts here

Summer Superleague 2022: Week two

Week two of the superleague sees ladies’ football and camogie action, starting at 7pm on Monday the 6th of June, at Vanier College.
First up we have the Verdun Vikings facing off against the Goose Village Blackrocks in the ladies’ football. The Vikings will be looking to bounce back from last week’s narrow loss and will be best foot forward for this fixture. The Rocks will be eyeing up the pace that’s already been set in the league and look to at least match it with a solid win of their own. It’s early days yet, but a strong start to the league will do wonders for both teams’ chances of a place in the finals.
Our camogie league continues its year of firsts with the inaugural outdoor superleague game. In the winter everything went the Rouges way, and they’ll be looking to build on that string foundation. PSC will draw comfort from the fact that camogie is a very different game outdoors, and that the pendulum is due to start swinging back their direction any day now.
Both these games should be fantastic, and we hope that you’ll join us for them.
