Winter Superleague 2023: Week Two
Week two of the 2023 winter superleague brings us our first hurling game of the season, as well as men and ladies’ football
The opener this week is hurling, with N.D.G. Na Fianna Rouges facing off against PSC Cu Chulainn for the start of their five game series. PSC have been the driving force in the hurling league since it’s inception, but there’s plenty to suggest that Na Fianna are ready to make 2023 their year.
Following that, we have the Concordia Warriors, back for another winter season, against the Griffintown Gaels in the ladies’ football. The Warriors will undoubtedly take inspiration from their male counterparts barnstormer last week, while the Gaels will be looking to keep pace with the early leaders with a top drawer performance of their own.
And finally, we cap off the evening with men’s football, where for the second time in as many weeks the Concordia Warriors take to the field, this time lining out against the Goose Village Blackrocks. The rocks are always at the most dangerous in the winterleague, but fresh from their win last weekend, there’s few that’d bet against the warriors taking full marks in this one. This should be a fantastic and tense game to end week two with.
So we hope you’ll join us for what promises to be an entertaining evening of gaelic games.
