Founded in 2017 following the growing numbers in hurling members the Montreal Shamrocks added a hurling schedule to the already existing Superleague. 3 teams were founded but remained unnamed until the 2017 Summer season started.
Originally playing under the name Red team during the 2017 Winter Superleague, a vote was put in place to officially name this team the St-Henri Harps as of the 2017 Summer Superleague
The Red team’s first official game came Saturday January 28 2017 at the Stinger Dome on the Concordia Loyola campus vs the Blue team (Later baptized Na Fianna Rouge). The Red team won 5-11 (26) vs 5-8 (23)
St-Henri Harps first game under their official name was played on Monday June 26 2017 at the Vanier College backfield vs Cu Chulainns. Cu Chulainns claimed the victory 7-4 (25) vs 3 – 4 (13). The Harps claimed their first club point under their new name by drawing with The Na Fianna Rouges Monday July 3rd 2017 2-6 (12) vs 2-6 (12)
