The first official social gathering of 2019 is the draft night for new players joining the club and registration for all members on January the 11th at Hurley’s Irish Bar, starting at 7pm. We will be in the back room upstairs, or ask a server where we are if you’re a little lost.

Those who joined us on the Introductory Day or anytime since our last draft will be assigned to their new teams for the Winter Superleague. They will find themselves on one of the following Football teams –

Concordia Warriors Men’s or Ladies’
Goose Village Blackrocks Men’s or Ladies’
Griffintown Gaels Men’s or Ladies’
Verdun Vikings Men’s or Ladies’

And/or one of the following Hurling/Camogie teams –

St. Henri Harps
P.S.C. Cu Chulainn
N.D.G. Na Fianna Rouges

This is a great opportunity for new members to mingle with the Club and their new teammates. It’s also time to officially register as both club Registrars, Vero and Mairt, will be present and printing membership cards for the new year. All existing members will need to register for 2019.

Looking to try a new sport?
Need an exciting activity to see you through the Winter?
Like meeting new people?
Maybe you’ve heard of Gaelic Football and or Hurling and want to know more?

This is the perfect time!
Join us at the Concordia Dome on January 5th to see and try our traditional Irish sports of Gaelic Football and Hurling/Camogie. Montreal Shamrocks is the oldest Gaelic Athletic Club in Canada and as such has a wide ranging membership. People of all ages, nationalities and experience levels are always welcome.

Following the Intro Day, those interested in joining our Winter Superleague (Jan-Apr) will be drafted to a team. Games will take place on Saturdays (though your team will not have a game every week). All membership information and options will be detailed on the day and can also be found here

It’s time to buy your tickets for the end of year, Christmas Banquet and Awards Night!
This year it is in Château Saint-Ambroise, on the 3rd of November starting at 5:30pm.
The night includes a 3 course meal, an open bar from 9:30pm to 2am, and a DJ!
All the Superleague and Shamrocks awards will be presented along with Shamrock of the Year. Not a night to be missed!
