Winter Superleague 2022: Week One Results

Week one of the superleague is over and we’ve had two fine games to start us off. In Men’s Football, Griffintown Gaels and Goose Village Blackrocks set the standard for the superleague going forward, with a hard fought contest, with the Gaels managing to hold on and take a six point win over a battling Blackrocks.
In Ladies’ Football, a similar story played out, with the Concordia Warriors having a strong start to a season and keeping a normally imperious Blackrocks within touching distance, but couldn’t quite close the gap, giving the Blackrocks a narrow five point win.

Winter Superleague 2022: Week One

It’s the long awaited return of the Winter Superleague!
To mark the occasion we will have Ladies’ and Men’s football this Saturday, the 26th of February at the Concordia Stinger Dome, starting at 6pm.
With a shortened season this year every game is important, so this is a fine opportunity for these teams to lay down a marker for the rest of the pack to take heed of.
Both games promise to be something special so please do come and join us at the Concordia Stinger Dome!

Virtual League Week #2

Week 2 of the virtual league has come and gone with the teams having logged a total of 18,147 reps in the last weeks. Well done, and surely everyone’s abs must be on fire by now.

In round two, everything got turned on it’s head. Week one winners the The Griffin-town Snails and T3am (previously Team 3) were on the receiving end of very strong performances from Team Equipe (formerly Team 4) and The Not So Underdogs respectively.
With everyone having two points apiece, score difference has come into play, meaning the only movement is The Griffin-town Snails and The not so underdogs swapping places in the middle.
So it’s all to play for this week, to come out on top, teams will need to win their game this week and post some serious points. It is, literally, anyone’s to win.
And finally, this week’s challenges! We’re going for distance this time. And we’re being kind, so any activity you log that doesn’t have a distance will be scored for the purposes of the challenge at your average movement speed over the last two weeks.

Best of luck to everyone!
